Reporting to – Sales Order Process manager

Overview

We are currently recruiting for the position of a Sales order process team member, we are looking for a person who will possess the basic office based skills to enable them to work within the SOP team, in house training will be given to the successful applicant with plenty of scope for development as they become more proficient within their role, this will enable them to develop their own personal skills and transgress to a more established member of the team.

With the right aptitude and commitment this could evolve to a more elevated position of handling our higher profile accounts and learning a mini project management style role.

Detailed elements of the role:

  • Use of the management information system.
  • Acknowledging customer purchase orders
  • Logging new and repeat products on to the company M.I.S.
  • Raising and sending accurate supplier material purchase orders.
  • Liaising with all internal departments to ensure a smooth flow of work.
  • Generating paperwork for various production areas.
  • Ensuring logistics and the planning departments are aware of upcoming projects.
  • Communicating with suppliers by email and by telephone regarding queries.

 

General office duties:

  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel & Word will be required.
  • Attending to company visitors
  • Communicating politely & clearly with our customer base via email & telephone.
  • Various filing tasks and other general office admin roles
  • Assistance on specific projects & group tasks.
  • Maintain a clean & tidy work area that conforms to current Swanline H&S requirements.

Package

The starting salary will be dependent on age and experience.
