We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our health, safety and environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.

It is our priority to encourage customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only does this make sound commercial sense for all, it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.

Our policy is to:

  • Integrate the consideration of environmental concerns and impacts into all of our decision-making and activities.
  • Promote environmental awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally friendly-manner.
  • Train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may be generated or affected by their work.
  • Reduce waste through re-use and recycling where these alternatives are available, economical and suitable.
  • Promote efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facilities.
  • Avoid unnecessary use of hazardous materials and take all reasonable steps to protect the environment when such materials must be used, stored and disposed of.
  • Purchase and use environmentally-responsible products accordingly.
  • Communicate our environmental commitment to customers, visitors and interested parties to encourage their support.
  • Strive to continually improve our environmental performance and minimise the social impact and damage of activities by periodically reviewing our environmental policy in light of our current and planned future activities.
