Staff Profile – Egle Krisiuleviciute

Egle

Egle Krisiuleviciute is the focus of our staff profile this month. Egle started at Swanline in the summer of 2016 as a hand assembly worker and changed her position to Estimator in August 2019. Egle tells us that she values the experience she had on the shop floor as it helps her to better understand the production processes now that she is an Estimator.

Egle came to Swanline right after she finished High School, it was her very first interview and she was so glad when she was given the position. Egle says she is grateful that Swanline chose her and she couldn’t think of a better place to begin her career. Egle’s Swanline colleagues have always believed in her and being able to experience different areas of Swanline has been invaluable to her.

As an Estimator, Egle strives to provide quotes as promptly as she can, offering the very best options for all customers so that they can achieve their requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.

Egle tells us, “Working with my colleagues, who are both cheerful and professional, is the very best part of working at Swanline. I also really enjoy the fact that there is always something new to learn here and I am constantly expanding my knowledge of not only Swanline, but of the industry as a whole.”

Egle says that her fondest memory of working at Swanline was when she became an Estimator last year. “After working as a hand assembly worker for 3 years, I felt the need for a new experience. I loved working at Swanline and didn’t want to leave, so I decided to apply for a position in the office. It was a big learning curve for me, and I consider myself very lucky that I was given the opportunity. It was a personal achievement of mine and I still feel proud of it every day.”

When she’s not getting quotes out to customers, Egle loves to travel and spend time with her friends. Earlier in the year she travelled to the Philippines for 3 weeks and wishes to spend more time travelling throughout Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Egle believes that travelling is the only thing you can truly buy that will make you richer.

The piece of advice that Egle leaves us with is: “One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.”
